I Got It!

When someone keeps telling you over and over the same thing you usually get to the point when you will say, I Got It!

The problem is Christendom today doesn’t get it.

They haven’t gotten what Paul teaches according to the revelation of the mystery.

Most of the doctrine that is taught today stops at the Ascension or at Pentecost, but very few go further than that when it comes to Bible Study.

For I neither received (got) it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

 Galatians 1:12

 Paul was unique in his writings in phrases like The Body of Christ, The Lord’s Table, The Revelation of the Mystery and the Head of the Body are a few things that you will find in no one else’s writings.

Try looking for them in the other letters of the N.T. and you will find them completely absent.

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received (got), and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received (got), how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Peter and the Apostles saw Jesus crucified and that he was buried and rose from the dead.

But Paul received what was accomplished by the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

This is called a further revelation.

Through Paul, we learn of redemption.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

 Ephesians 1:7

Through Paul, we learn of sanctification.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

 1 Corinthians 1:30

Through Paul, we learn of justification.

Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Romans 4:25

 Through Paul, we learn of grace.

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

 Romans 11:6

 When you get what Paul got then you will understand your position in Christ and less on your worthless works.

Christ has done everything for you on your behalf. Adding anything to it is you following a religion.

Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

 Galatians 5:4
